Marriage :)

Wow, I can't really believe it's December already! Half way through too! Where does the time go...
Gare and I have just been busy busy. Gare is doing his pinnacle thing, and an excellent job at it, if I may say so myself. He's the number one 'rookie' salesman at the moment, and as a matter of fact he's out selling right now. No wonder he's at the top. He's such a hard worker and gives it all he has all the time. Seriously, there's not a day that goes by when he's not selling or talking to someone in the pinnacle building. I tell him all the time that I'm really proud of him, cause I really am. I love seeing him get excited when he gets a sale or a call back. Here's his outfit that he wears...

He can't wait to sell this summer, and I can't wait to see where we go! Hopefully somewhere super warm. Rexburg has been FREEZING lately. The sun out so you think it's okay, but then the breeze hits ya and your cold for the rest of the day. I think I need to start cooking in the oven so that it will warm up in the apartment.
My mom, sisters, and I went to the nutcracker yesterday! It's a little tradition we have right before christmas. We usually go to dinner just us, but this year we were lucky to be accompanied by the Randall family that we love! Becky, the mom, has 7 girls! I feel bad because she wants a boy really bad... but she recently just had a baby. Her name is Elizabeth, and she is the cutest thing. I got to hold her for most of the nutcracker performance. When it was time to go I was like, "I think I'm going to take her home with me... I think Gare will be all right with it." I figured we'd be fine cause she was just smilin' at me. I'm not gonna lie, I had a baby craving moment. :) Then I came home and Gare assured me that wouldn't be for a while. Since we had a GNO (girls night out) the boys went to dinner and saw a movie too. They saw Tower Heist I guess, and said it was good, but had a rushed ending.
The reason I titled this marriage is because I went to Hayley Howard's bridal shower today. She's such a sweet girl, and I'm so glad we're friends. This was actually the first bridal shower I had ever been to. They had so many fun games and these cupcakes with pictures of really hot actors on top. Haha I got the one with Mattew Mchonahey because one of my mom's  friends always calls him Mattew Mchonaheeeeey! Ask me about it and I'll tell you in person cause it's cute! Anyways, they are such a cute couple and I can't wait to go to their wedding! Gare has been to a wedding before, but this will be my first time! So exciting! :)
Adorable, right?

It's been 4 weeks??

Holy smokes time flies! Just the other day we were counting our marriage in weeks, and now we're to one month. Soon it'll be a year... crazy crazy... Actually, what's crazy is how you can be with one person 24/7 and then not get to see them for a couple days and miss them like crazy! You'd think we'd enjoy the break, and Garret might be, but I know I'm not. I freeze when I sleep cause he's my electric blanket! In scripture term, we're one flesh so I'm missing part of my flesh. Not complete. It's okay though cause I get to go home to my hubby (still gettin' used to that term haha) tomorrow :) Thank goodness!
Anyhoo, I have a few updates. Gare and I have been having a blast experimenting in the kitchen. I swear we put rice with everything! It's good though so I'm not complaining in a bad way. Unfortunately we've only taken a one picture of one of our (well, mainly Gare's) masterpieces, but that's just for now.
This was so stinkin' good. I was so glad we had leftovers for the next day. We cooked the rest of the sausage that we had, and sauteed some shrimp and mushrooms. Then we mixed it up with some red sauce for a perfect combination. I thought it needed something healthy so we colored it up with some steamed broccoli. We just love broccoli so it goes with most of our meals :) Good thing its healthy for us. I would highly recommend this concoction to anyone.
Also, we've been having a date night for a 3 consistent fridays. Today is the consistency breaker. We usually rent a movie, but we went to a movie at the cheap theater once and saw Dream House. Not the best show, but very intriguing. And that's what we like so we liked it. I think this picture was from that night. It's probably my new favorite picture of us right now...
What a babe :) I love that he just has that genuinely nice, caring look about him. Fits his personality perfectly. I just love him :)

We've decided to start a family...

Of fish! :) Hopefully nobody thought of something else... haha I'm sorry I just thought it would be funny. That won't be for a long time. Anyhoo, this one here is called a neon tetra. The blue stripe on him/her (we don't really know cause according to Gare fish can be either gender), but anyway the blue stripe is such a bright pretty blue. We have 3 of these little guys, and we couldn't tell them apart at all so we named them thing 1,2, and 3. It suits 'em. Then we have two others that are called black phantom tetras.
You can only see one clearly in this picture, but that's what the other looks like too. We decided one had to be a boy and one a girl. This one happened to be a little bigger and had more black on his tail fin so we made him the boy and named him Scar. The other one is Scarlet. They are not very entertaining, but they make a nice addition to our home. We love them and hope they don't die anytime soon :) Hence, why we put this in there... haha...

Next item of business is pictures. I have some from the reception I absolutely love and want to frame all over our apartment!
Can I get round of applause for Lisa? Those bread bowls with soup and salad was delicious.
The whole Kerby family
Gare and his beautiful sisters!
We all love our little brothers :)
I love these girls so much :)
My sweet and adorable little flower girls!
Gare & his parents
My parents & I
My smokin' hot bridesmaids & I! :)
FUNNY :) Jaxon, my little cousin, met Gare while we were engaged and thought it was so weird that Gare would kiss me so he told him that he was watching him. It was hilarious.
Left: Cute little Tate & I ---- Right: Gare & Miss Claira
My beautiful cake-maker woman :)
This is my sister Ashton. I looove her and her cheetah :)
Oh ya, totally got him... :)
Everyone was supposed to dance with us, but this made for a really great picture.
And though our party came to an end, the love behind it all is alive and kickin! We actually went to the temple today and got to repeat our ceremony. It was just as good as October 14th. I'm so glad we live less than a mile away. We are seriously so lucky to have this. We decided today that we're going to make it a weekly thing to go. Why not when we're this close, ya know? It's such a peaceful place and rejuvinates you for the days to come. Everyone needs a little rejuvinating from time to time. I know I do. They say everything happens for a reason, so maybe that's why we're living so close. All I know is that we're gonna take advantage of it immediately :)

Couldn't be happier :)

Ah I'm so excited! I have good neeeews! I got my pictures! I wish I could put them all on here, but these few will have to do.
Ellie Bellie was so excited; Almost as much as me :)
The whole gang!
Part of the Kerby Family, groomsmen, and two of Gare's friends Heather and Neisha (sorry if I slaughtered that spelling)
My Mom's side of the family
Gosh, he's even cute when he's in an almost falling situation :)
My Dad's side of the family
I really love ever one of these kiddos... and just kids in general because they're so humble. I taught a primary class before  the wedding and I couldn't believe how much they knew and didn't even question anything. I think they're such good examples.

   One a the faves :)
So that's good for now. I'll put up some reception pictures another time. I've got some dinner to cook :) But I just wanna say that I love being married to Garret. He is so caring and patient. Since we've been living together, we've found a few differences and I can be kinda stubborn about some things and I think Gare can be too, but we have been able to let those things go and talk about things we need to. They're stupid things anyway. I love that about Gare, he's a good problem solver. We never go to sleep without saying that we love each other. I know it's only been two weeks and I definitely have a lot to learn, but I feel that we're going to have a marriage full of joy and love. I couldn't be happier :)

WE'RE MARRIED!! :)

It's official, I am forever sealed to my best friend. Friday was really the best day ever. I was running on about 4 hours, and Gare at about 3 hours of sleep, but the excitement of getting married gave us more energy than an energy drink could. It was seriously the most perfect day ever. Everything went smooth, fast, and turned out just how I had planned. The ceremony was wonderful. I was choking back tears the whole time, but Gare was fine. He's so brave... He is such an example to me in so many ways. I am so glad I married him. The luncheon was full of delicious food and touching moments. Terry, Gare's dad had people get up and say something about us or one of us, and that was really cool. Some people almost made me cry, but the happy cry. Then we went and rested for like a second, and then we were back taking pictures. People started arriving right after and I was worried that my face was gonna be stuck like that botox stuff cause I could not remove the smile from my face. Smiles are such a good thing, but I just had more than my face could handle haha... Gare was rubbin' his cheeks to help it, but then someone else would come and we'd have to smile again. Seeing friends and family was so great. I hadn't seen some of those people for quite a while, so it was good to catch up and things. I wish I could've had more time to talk to some of them, but we were pretty ready to get outta there... :P Then the exit was beautiful with the white and purple lights; it was just as I imagined. I truly had the most wonderful wedding day ever thanks to my family. I have no idea who I'd be or what would I do without 'em! I love you guys!
I haven't quite got my pictures from the wedding yet, but stay tuned because it will be very soon! However, my lovely sister in law, Kylee, got some really good ones that I just love and have to put a couple up. First of all, I gotta put up my hubby cause he is my favorite :)
Gosh, I just love him! That smile wins me over every time :D I really hope our kids get his smile... They'll be so stinkin' cute. And this picture of him and his niece Abby was adorable. He just barely met that little girl, but he already loves her and thinks she's the cutest thing ever.
And I can't forget about Claira. Garret and I love her too! I will put a picture of her up soon, but I just have to say that she is the sweetest little girl I know. We were taking pictures at the temple, and she was sitting on my lap for one and I asked her if she wanted to hold my bouquet and she was so excited. Then when she got off my lap, she held out the bouquet and said, "Um... Lexie... Thank you for letting me hold your bouquet." It was priceless. Gare and I bring it up all the time. I am just so excited for the future. I have the best husband, wonderful in-laws, and a loving family. What more could I possibly ask for? :)

Just a few more days... :)

I have exactly 4 days, 9 hours, and 43 minutes until I am sealed forever to the love of my life :) Marriage is such a big step in life, and I have to admit I was a little scared, but with Gare it's been different. I have felt comfortable with him since the day we met. He is honestly the best guy ever. I just feel genuinely happy when I'm with him. I never knew I could feel this happy. I am so thankful that we are members of the church and have the opportunity to be married in the temple for time and all eternity. I couldn't settle for any less time with my loverboy :) Ha I just love him! Him and his perfect smile, dreamy eyes, and super loving heart. His heart is the thing that got me.

I just don't know how anyone couldn't fall in love with that smile of his :)

He is the guy that actually liked my red cheeks when I get embarrassed, was my very first valentine, and the only one I have ever fallen in love with. It's kinda cool cause he was the first guy I ever said "I love you" to, and I was the first girl he said "I love you" to. We are each other's first and last. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am that we saved that for each other. It has so much more meaning. Seriously though, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be in his life and have him in mine. He's the reason I get out of bed in the morning, and the reason I have sweet dreams at night. I am so blessed because he is my best friend too. Definitely the best I've had by far. We talk about anything and everything. We never seem to run out of things to talk about actually.  Hours feel like minutes when we're together. We are so excited and looking forward to forever.. and ever :)
